The solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is Saturday 15th August. This is a Holy Day of Obligation in Australia, which means we are required to attend Mass for that Feast day. There will be a vigil Mass on Friday 14th at 6pm and Saturday 15th at 9:30am. Attendance at either of these Masses fulfils the obligation.
