The card is free for volunteers. Parish roles requiring a card include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Acolyte<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Senior Server<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eucharistic Minister to home\/care facility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Catechist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;and a number of other roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for a card&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.accesscanberra.act.gov.au\/s\/article\/working-with-vulnerable-people-wwvp-registration-tab-overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">follow this link<\/a>. When recording \u201cemployer details\u201d, please list Parish Priest and Parish Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Archdiocesan Child Protection Code of Conduct (CPCC) is compulsory for all volunteers, irrespective of their volunteer role. This is to ensure all volunteers understand their role in protecting children.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please read the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cgcatholic.org.au\/professional-standards\/child-protection-code-of-conduct\/\">Code of Conduct<\/a>.
